Blue Man Group a Hit at EDTS

EDTS, a full-service technology consulting firm, held its 10th anniversary celebration and office preview party on the evening of September 17. The firm recently moved into its new home office in downtown Augusta at 933 Broad Street. The evening was themed around the hit theatrical show, the Blue Man Group, and five actors dressed as blue men greeted guests as they arrived at the office.

Before being treated to a selection of catered hors d'oeuvres and beverages, guests were given a tour of the new office. At each stop, a blue man presented information about the company and its services. Guests learned about EDTS’ mission and promise of “excuse-free IT.”

Following the tour, guests played a trivia game, earning points for correct answers in the form of a name badge scan. These scans increased the chances of winning large prizes, including a Dell NetBook, a digital camera and an iPod. One guest won an all-expense paid trip for two to see the Blue Man Group perform live in Chicago in October.

“As we celebrated our 10-year anniversary as a company, hosting this event allowed us to thank our clients for their support and also showcase our new location in a fun and creative way,” said Charles Johnson, EDTS President and CEO.
